The Aura version of Maco 820C film eliminates
the anti-halation layer in the film allowing some of the
light from the image to travel within the film base
thereby giving a small "halo" of light around the highlights
of the picture. The effect is similar to Kodak Infrared
but at a lower speed and less grain.
